Admitting that the BJP fell prey to the conspiracy by DKS brothers in Ramanagara Assembly bypoll, Union Minister D V Sadanandagowda on Friday said the BJP nominee L Chandrashekar joining the Congress was just a temporary setback to the party and nothing more.

Speaking to reporters here, Sadanandagowda said, “Chandrashekar, who had joined the BJP from the Congress, has only shown his Congress mentality. The last days of the Congress, which stooped low to grab power in the state, are nearing.”

“We have lodged a complaint against Chandrashekar with the Election Commission of India. Chandrashekar has disrespected the Indian Constitution by withdrawing from the fray in the last minute,” Gowda said. He has committed treachery. Even his father Lingappa has called him coward and useless,” Union minister said.
