JSW Steel employee falls to death

A senior officer of JSW Steel fell to death while inspecting a conveyor belt at the Toranagal unit here on Tuesday.

Rajendra Verma (48), a deputy general manager, lost his balance and fell from a height of about nine metre while disembarking from the conveyor belt, according to the complaint registered with Toranagal police.

Verma, who hailed from Andhra Pradesh was immediately rushed to a hospital, but he succumbed during treatment.
