The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) on Wednesday postponed the announcement of seat allotment results for Engineering, Architecture, Agricultural Sciences, Horticulture, Veterinary, B-Pharma etc courses to August 11. According to the earlier schedule, the KEA was supposed to publish the results on Wednesday.
“As the date of the result announcement is postponed, the candidates are allowed to make the option entry up
to 11.00 am till August 10.
In this round, the candidates are allowed to make fresh option entry -add, delete, modify and re-order. This is purely for the sake of the students and as per the order of higher education minister,” a KEA official told DH.
The KEA will refund the fee amount of the students by deducting Rs 5,000 from those who surrender the selected seats before 5 pm on August 9. If the seats are surrendered after the given time, then the KEA will forfeit the entire amount as per the rules.
