The Karnataka State Road Transport Authority sufferred a loss of Rs 5.40 crore due to the strike on Tuesday, reports DHNS from Mangaluru.
According to a press release from KSRTC, it was able to operate 2,450 out of the total 5,658 schedules. As a result, the revenue loss was tentatively estimated at Rs. 5.40 crore. The loss also included Rs 17.19 lakh, refunded to 2,513 passengers who had booked their tickets online.
