Maharashtra delegation visits KSRTC

Bengaluru: A delegation from Maharashtra led by Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik and senior officials visited the KSRTC on Sunday for a study tour of the various bus services and schemes offered by Karnataka's state-run state corporation. 

The team visited the KSRTC's central offices, depot and workshop, and reviewed the labour welfare initiatives, commercial revenue, refurbishing/upgrade of buses, HRMS, e-ticketing, cashless health scheme KSRTC Arogya, Rs 1-crore accident insurance scheme, and other initiatives. 

The team also reviewed the KSRTC's premier bus services, including Airavat Club Class 2.0, Airavat Club Class, Ambaari Dream Class, Ambaari Utsav, Pallakki, Fly Bus, Rajahamsa, and Ashwamedha. 

The delegation held discussions with Karnataka Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy, KSRTC Vice-Chairman Rizwan Nawab, Transport Department Principal NV Prasad, Managing Director V Anbukumar, BMTC Managing Director Ramachandran R, and other officials, according to the KSRTC.
