<p class="title">MLC V S Ugrappa slammed K R Hospital Nursing Hostel authorities for poor maintenance and told them to maintain hygiene and safety.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Ugrappa is also the former chairman of the Committee on Prevention of Crime and Violence Against Women & Children.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Ugrappa told the hostel authorities to ensure safety of the students in the hostel.</p>.<p class="bodytext">It maybe recalled, that complaints of a man prowling near the hostel, was reported a few days back. This man also tried to steal mobile phones and allegedly attacked a student. The police are investigating the case.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Ugrappa visited the hostel on Tuesday for an inspection. He took the hostel administration to task following complaints by inmates.</p>
