Launching a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Coalition Coordination Committee chairman Siddaramaiah said Modi is rich men's chowkidar and that he has no concern for the poor.
He was addressing the party workers from Chitradurga reserve constituency, where B N Chandrappa is seeking re-election.
Modi is a master of illusion. He came to power with towering claims and promises. He has cheated the people by selling false hopes, Siddaramaiah said.
Modi had promised 'achche din' (good times). But his 'achche din' has remained elusive for the poor, farmers and the women, he said and added that Modi government, however, safeguarded the interests of the corporates likes Ambanis, Adanis, Vijay Mallya, among others.
