<p>Mangaluru: RTC (Record of Rights, Tenancy, and Crops) documents will be disbursed to 7,000 owners during the inauguration of new deputy commissioner's building by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on May 16, District in-charge Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao said on Saturday.</p><p>"In fact the podi (demarcation and fixing of boundaries) campaign had set a target of issuing 10,000 RTCs," Dinesh informed while addressing media people at the end of a meeting with district-level officials at Netravathy hall in Dakshina Kannada (DK) zilla panchayat premises. </p><p>He said a majority of owners receiving RTCs are from Beltangady, Bantwal and Puttur and that the CM prior to inaugurating the new DC building will inaugurate the new indoor stadium built at a total cost of Rs 33 crore.</p><p><strong>Role of PFI in Suhas murder case, figment of BJP's imagination</strong></p><p>Dinesh responding to BJP submitting a memorandum to Karnataka Governor and demanding National Investigation Agency (NIA) investigation into the murder of Suhas, said demands for investigation by NIA would have been justified if police had no clues or those involved in the murder being untraced. </p><p>"But police had succeeded in arresting all the accused people and established the objective behind the murder of Suhas. Thus, police should be congratulated. In some cases, even the CBI fails in arresting the accused," he emphasised.</p><p><strong>Murders keep happening</strong></p><p>The minister responding to a bigger conspiracy and role of members of PFI in the murder of Suhas, said the government cannot answer to figments of BJP's imagination. </p><p>"If BJP had some definite information and evidences which they can share it with the government, then the police will take action," he stressed.</p><p>Dinesh responding to criticisms on not paying a visit to the house of murder victim, said that murders keep happening. "It is not mandatory to make visits (to houses of murder victims). The responsibility is to see that the accused are arrested and punished,": he added.</p><p><strong>MLA Harish Poonja lacks civility</strong></p><p>Dinesh said he had given clear instructions to police on registering cases against messages in social media creating disharmony in society. "We will not hesitate to take strict action against those who upload messages demoralising Indian army forces. Sometimes the actions are delayed as most of them are fake accounts." </p><p>The minister was responding to personal attacks by Beltangady MLA Harish Poonja and said he felt no need to stoop to the level of Harish in order to rebut the charges. "His language has revealed that he lacks civility," Dinesh added.</p><p>MLCs S L Bhojegowda and Ivan D'Souza were also present.</p>
