Nanjundi to join BJP

Congress leader and businessman K P Nanjundi on Thursday announced that he will soon join the BJP.

Nanjundi, who is the president of Akhila Karnataka Vishwakarma Mahasabha, was upset with the ruling Congress for not making him an MLC. He announced his decision after the state BJP president B S Yeddyurappa extended him an invitation to join the party.

Nanjundi later told reporters that he is not expecting anything from the party and he would take up any responsibility assigned to him.
