Bengaluru: In an effort to promote its own brand and eliminate the sale of private label products from Nandini parlours, the Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) launched a new line of bakery products on Sunday.
.
This initiative was announced on World Milk Day, celebrated on June 1. According to the KMF, it follows the introduction of bread, buns, and cream buns in January 2021.
.
Building on that momentum, Nandini is rolling out 18 new products — including slice cakes, muffins, and bar cakes.
.
The range includes fruity slice cakes, available in 30-gram packs and priced at Rs 15. A choco orange slice cake, which comes in 50g packs, is priced at Rs 15, while 50g vanilla and pineapple slice cakes are priced at Rs 20. A sponge vanilla cake, priced at Rs 10 for a 25g portion, will also be available as a budget-friendly option.
.
Muffins, offered in vanilla, chocolate, pineapple, strawberry, and mawa flavours, come in 150g packs priced at Rs 50 each. For those looking for more indulgent options, the 200g bar cakes — featuring varieties like plum, chocolate, vanilla, banana walnut, and jaggery-based flavours — are priced at Rs 110 across the board, the KMF said.
