Penalty imposed for power theft

A penalty of Rs 1.5 lakh has been imposed and a criminal case was booked recently.
The vigilance team of Bagalkot, Hescom, caught one residence in Navanagar area of Bagalkot town for committing power theft in a similar manner. A penalty of Rs 67,283 has been imposed and a criminal case was booked.

The inspection team of M T Bidar, Gescom, caught one flour mill at Hudgi village in Humnabad taluk for committing power theft. A penalty of Rs 1.21 lakh has been imposed and a criminal case has been booked.
