A court here today granted time till March 7 to the petitioner, who has sought prosecution of three former Karnataka ministers caught in the porn scandal, to file his objections to the police affidavit.

8th Additional City Metropolitan Magistrate Kiran Kini accepted the plea of petitioner Dharmapal Gowda seeking time to file objections to the February 15 affidavit filed by Vidhana Soudha Police.

In the affidavit, police had contended that the petition was not "maintainable" on the ground that Gowda had not sought permission from Assembly Speaker K G Bopaiah to prosecute the trio, who are MLAs.

Laxman Savadi, C C Patil and Krishna Palemar resigned on February 8 as Ministers a day after the incident which was caught on camera by two regional TV channels.
