Rajanna unhappy with Surjewala meetings in Bengaluru

Tumakuru: Cooperation Minister K N Rajanna has expressed his unhappiness over Congress general secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala collecting opinions from the party MLAs in Bengaluru.

"It was not right on the part of Surjewala to do so. I am not happy with the exercise conducted by him," Rajanna said. He was speaking to reporters here on Friday. 

He said Natarajan visited Andhra Pradesh and returned in a day. "But, what has happened in Karnataka?" Rajanna said.

He said that either the high command or the MLAS must effect a change of leadership. "The MLAs are not willing and I presume high command too won't do it."

Rajanna said he was doubtful of Siddaramaiah accepting the chairmanship of the OBC consultative committee formed by the All India Congress Committee. "Siddaramaiah does not know Hindi. Nothing moves in Delhi without knowledge of Hindi. What will he do at the national level?," Rajanna sought to know.
