RTE quota: 3,769 seats allotted in first round

Bengaluru: The School Education Department has allotted as many as 3,769 seats in aided and private school under RTE quota in the first
round.

This year, the department had considered 11,096 applications for the first round of seat allotment. Those who have been allotted seats have been told to report to the respective schools by June 6. 

As per the data furnished by the department, among the students who have got seats, three are children of farmers who committed suicide, two are migrant and street children and three are orphan.
