Shiroor Mutt seer wasn't poisoned: Theertha Swamij

Pejawar mutt seer Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamij, the eldest seer of Ashta Mutts, has said that nobody poisoned Lakshmivara Theertha Swami of Shiroor Mutt.

"The seer's elder brothers have said that utensils used to cook food for him were not good which led to food poisoning. Hence, the question of poisoning him doesn't arise," he told reporters.

"There should be reason for doubts. Many people die daily and we shouldn't doubt everything," he said.

"I will think if I should attend the formation of Brindavan for him if I get invitation. I won't attend the event without invitaiton," he said.

The truth will be out only after the post-mortem, he said.
