Smearing of human excreta: DSS stages stir in Chikmagalur

He was addressing the DSS workers during the protest that was held near DC office on Thursday.

He criticised the government for merely pretending to care for the Dalits by chanting Dalit manthra everyday. But these rulers never ever seriously ponder over the development of Dalits, he said. He also held that the same kind of incidents take place across the State everyday. Hence, Srinivas asked the citizens of the State to have a serious thought over such kind of evil practices and thereby to compel the State government to take action against it.

The Trust strictly condemns those officers who have not yet taken action against an evil practice like carrying human excreta.

“The officials concerned should be imprisoned,” they demanded.

Meanwhile, he requested the government to ban the practice of carrying human excreta on one’s head. He also demanded to provide justice and protection to Dalits by providing free education to children of Bhangi and Municipal workers.
