<p class="title">‘Samooha’, a cultural ensemble, will celebrate its 18th edition of ‘Spring Fest’ at Ravindra Mantapa, MGM College in Udupi on March 24.</p>.<p class="title">The event will be inaugurated by Prof Varadesh Hiregange, Coordinator of RRC, Udupi. Dr Vijay, principal of MGM College-Udupi will be the chief guest.</p>.<p class="title">Research Scholar Dr Prabhakar Joshi will deliver a keynote on ‘Possibilities of Research in Samooha as a concept’. Three books written by Prof Udyavara Madhava Acharya will also be released on the occasion.</p>.<p class="title">Srisannidhi will enact a short story ‘Seelu Bidirina Sillu’, written by Prof Udyavara Madhava Acharya.</p>.<p class="title">Bhramari Shivaprakash will stage a solo dance drama ‘Kodandada Kone’ depicting the end of Ramavatara and how these days represent a cultural transformation.</p>.<p class="title">As the main attraction, noted Bharatanatyam artiste Vasundhara Doraswamy will perform a solo dance drama ‘Kshaatra Draupadi’ depicting the life of Draupadi and her fighting spirit. Based on Kumaravyasa Bharata, the stage script is written by Dr Jyoti Shankar.</p>
