Sriramulu flays JD-S’ Sumalatha outsider remark

BJP leader B Sriramulu on Wednesday took a dig at JD(S) leaders’ ‘Sumalatha outsider’ remark saying, “If Sumalatha is not Gowdathi, then Sonia Gandhi is not an Indian citizen.”

Speaking to reporters during the filing of nomination by party candidate Sanganna Karadi here, Sriramulu said, “Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy is limited to Hassan and Mandya districts.”

The Molakalmuru MLA alleged that the JD(S) leaders were indulging in cheap gimmicks to defeat a woman in Mandya constituency .

“Sumalatha will defeat Nikhil, coalition candidate from Mandya,” he said.
