Prof Hulme is the founder director (2000-07) of the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research. He has done extensive research on climate change.
Prof Hulme’s recent book - ‘Why we disagree about climate change: understanding controversy, inaction and opportunity’ - published by the Cambridge University Press is also likely to be released on the occasion, according to a press release.
