Teachers demand equal salary

He was speaking after inaugurating the Karnataka Primary School Teachers Association at King George Hall in Kolar Gold Fields on Sunday.

Narasimhaiah said that State government should extend all the benefits given to teachers under Central government to the teachers covered by State government. Attempts should also be made to improve the social standards of the teachers, he added.

Ashok, president of Government Employees Federation’s district unit, Federation’s Bangalore unit’s General Secretary Sachidanandmurty, Tamanna, Mohammed Asifulla, Halahalli Venkatesh, Amaranarayan, V L Ramesh, L Subramanyachar, N Venkat Reddy and many others were present on the occasion.
