This Dasara, Siddaramaiah to pray for welfare of people of Karnataka & rain

The CM will offer floral obeisance to Goddess Sri Chamundeshwari.

Mysuru: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah greeted the people of the State on the occasion of Vijayadashami.

He was speaking to media persons near his residence at Sharadadevinagar in Mysuru on Tuesday.

The CM said that even as he would offer floral obeisance to Goddess Sri Chamundeshwari, housed in Golden Howdah and carried by Elephant Abhimanyu during Dasara Jamboo Savari procession, he would pray for the welfare of the people of Karnataka and for rain so that atleast the existing crops survive.
