<p>Bengaluru: Water Bodies in several Kalyana Karnataka districts have come alive as thundershowers continued to lash the region for the third consecutive day on Thursday.</p>.<p>There’s no let-up in rain in Bidar and Kalaburagi districts, where the evening showers for the last three days have infused life into the water bodies. Skies opened up in the small hours of Thursday in Bidar and it rained till noon, leaving the roads and the low-lying areas waterlogged. A prolonged spell of rain turned the Nehru Stadium into a lake and left the DHO office premises waterlogged.</p>.<p>Kamalnagar and Aurad taluks also received sharp showers. Harapanahalli in Vijayanagar district recorded 112 mm of rain in the last 24 hours.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Showers for the past two days have brought cheers to the farmers of Vijayapura district, who are busy preparing land for the kharif season. Vijayapura city, Muddebihal, Horti and Inchageri, witnessed showers, coupled with thunder and lightning, in the evening.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Parts of Haveri district also recorded good rain, accompanied by gusty winds and thunder activity.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Many parts of Bengaluru Urban, Mysuru, Chikkamagaluru districts also experienced thunderstorms in the evening.</p>
