<p>Gundlupet, Chamarajanagar dist: A tiger’s carcass was found near Srikantapuragudda under Onkar range, Bandipur Tiger Reserve, in Gundlupet taluk, Chamarajanagar district, on Monday.</p><p>The male tiger, said to be around nine years old, was found in a highly decomposed state. Bandipur Tiger Reserve DCF Prabhakaran, ACF Suresh, Onkar range forest officer Sathish Kumar and officials visited the spot.</p><p>Veterinarian Dr Mujeeb, who conducted the post mortem confirmed that no injuries were found on the body of the tiger. It might have died of natural causes.</p><p>The carcass was cremated as per the Forest department norms.</p>
