<p>Bengaluru: Karnataka has reported an addition of 53 active cases of Covid in the past 24 hours, bringing the total active cases to 324. </p><p>The cumulative figure of Covid positive cases since January 1 this year now stands at 582, with 254 people having recovered and four people having died in May, as per Tuesday’s Covid bulletin published by the state health department. </p>.High test rate keeping Covid numbers high in Kerala, says health minister Veena George.<p>Over the past 24 hours, a total of 675 Covid tests have been conducted, including 610 RT-PCR tests and 65 Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT). The state's positivity rate in the past 24 hours stood at 7.8 per cent. No deaths were recorded on Tuesday.</p><p>Of 324 patients, 319 are isolating at home and the rest have been admitted to hospitals across the state. Hospitalisations include three patients in private hospitals and one patient in government hospital. One patient is in a private hospital ICU.</p>
