'Tulunada Sanjeevini' to be launched on Dec 16

‘Tulunada Sanjeevini’ a social service organisation will be inaugurated on December 16.

Addressing reporters in Mangaluru on Tuesday, organisation office bearer Ramkumar Marnad said that the inaugural function will be held at Radhakrishna Mandira, Urwa at 10 am.

Mangaluru South MLA D Vedavyas Kamath will inaugurate the function. A blood donation camp will be held after the inaugural function. Health cards will be distributed to the beneficiaries, in association with KMC, Attavar.

The objective of the organisation is to cater to the medical needs of the less privileged in the society.

Mainly, the organisation will help in providing blood to needy patients. Financial assistance will be provided for medical treatment. Free eye testing and treatment camps, distribution of spectacles and dentures will be carried out in villages. Awareness will be created on organ donation, said Marnad.
