<p>Mangaluru: The Konaje police arrested two persons attempting to break in at Muthoot Finance in Deralakatte on Sunday.</p><p>Commissioner of Police Anupam Agrawal said that on March 30, around 1 am, an alert message was received at the police control room regarding an attempted break-in. Acting swiftly, the night round officers and personnel from the 112 Emergency Response Team immediately rushed to the spot and arrested two people.</p>.Inter district school thefts: Man arrested.<p>The arrested are Murali M G (55) from Idukki and Arshad (30) from Kanhangad. The police seized a drilling machine, screwdriver, and other burglary tools. Preliminary investigations revealed the involvement of a third accused, and efforts are under way to trace and apprehend him. The investigation is in progress, said the commissioner. A case has been registered under Sections 331(4), 305, and 62 of the BNS.</p><p>The investigation has revealed that three individuals arrived by train and waited near Deralakatte until late night. Later, they attempted to commit theft. When they tried to break open the door using a drill machine, the siren went off which in turn alerted the officials from finance and locals.</p><p>One of the arrested, Murali was previously involved in a Vijaya Bank dacoity case in Chandera.</p>
