Will back candidate announced by party: Shobha

Udupi-Chikmagalur MP Shobha Karandlaje said that she will campaign for the candidate who gets the ticket from the party.

"If Jayaprakash Hegde gets the ticket, I am ready to campaign for him," she added.

Speaking to reporters on Monday, she said, "I will back the BJP candidate announced by the party high command. The party had directed all MPs to travel extensively in the constituency. I have worked accordingly. The parliamentary committee of the party led by BJP National President Amit Shah will take a decision on ticket aspirants. The list of ticket aspirants is long in all the winning constituencies. The party leaders will console those who fail to get the ticket."
