<p>Mumbai: In one of the strongest reactions against <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/donald-trump">Donald Trump</a>’s policies, Yoga guru and Ayurveda proponent <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/baba-ramdev">Baba Ramdev</a> on Sunday accused the <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/united-states">United States</a> President of engaging in “tariff terrorism” and “economic terrorism” to bully the poor and developing countries. </p><p>The comments of Baba Ramdev, who runs the Patanjali brand along with Acharya Balkrishna, came in Nagpur, after the inauguration of Patanjali Food and Herbal Park. </p><p>According to Baba Ramdev, Trump is trying to create a pressure on weaker nations and developing countries. </p><p>The park, which is intended to transform the agriculture landscape of Vidarbha, was inaugurated by Baba Ramdev along with Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari. </p><p>Incidentally, Nagpur is the headquarters of RSS, the ideological fountainhead of BJP.</p>.Trump tariffs to hit Indian pharma segment; auto sector likely to face minimal impact.<p> Speaking to reporters, Baba Ramdev, a successful entrepreneur, slammed Trump, who is now into the second innings as the American President. </p><p>"We have seen political polarisation… we have seen economic colonisation... we are seeing a new phase of intellectual colonisation. Since the advent of Trump, we are witnessing tariff terrorism… he is taking the world to a new order. This is economic terrorism," Baba Ramdev said.</p><p>“Trump is shredding democracy… he is not obeying the United Nations, World Trade Organisation… he is running World Bank and International Monetary Fund as per his whims and fancies,” he said. </p><p>“On one side there is Donald Trump…on the other side, you have (Russian President) Vladimir Putin and (Chinese President) Xi Jinping…on the other side you can’t predict what (North Korean dictator) Kim Jong Un would do…in such circumstances, India need to emerge as a developed nation… all Indians must unite to answer them,” Baba Ramdev said.</p>
