<p>Mumbai: A day after Uddhav Thackeray’s challenge of “come on, kill me” and “ambulance" jibe, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that he does not respond to “bol bachchan” even as the BJP launched a scathing attack against the Shiv Sena (UBT) head saying that he had bowed down before Congress leader Sonia Gandhi. </p><p>Two jibes of Thackeray, a former Maharashtra chief minister, had rattled the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena and the BJP.</p><p>Borrowing the dialogue of <em>Prahaar</em> - “come on, kill me” - rendered by Nana Patekar as he takes on “goondas” in the military action movie, Thackeray had dared the BJP and said that he will "fulfil what people of Maharashtra want" - a statement which takes ahead the possibility of an alliance with his cousin and MNS President Raj Thackeray. </p><p>Besides, referring to the movie <em>Trishul</em>, when Amitabh Bachchan confronts bad guys with an accompanying ambulance, he said, “But if you dare attack me, come along with an ambulance like in the film starring Amitabh Bachchan because you will meet the same fate.” </p><p>While Shinde, the Deputy Chief Minister and Shiv Sena leader had already reacted by saying - "arey…mare hue ko kya marna hai” - it was the turn of the BJP.</p>.Uddhav throws open challenge at BJP to 'kill him', Eknath Shinde throws shade at him, praises Modi.<p>Asked about Thackeray’s remarks repeatedly, Fadnavis said, “I am not going to respond to bol bachchan people.” </p><p>State revenue minister and BJP President Chandrashekhar Bawankule slammed Thackeray for targeting prime minister Narendra Modi, home minister Amit Shah and Fadnavis. </p><p>“It is easy to make personal allegations against respected Modi, Shah and Fadnavis, but while these leaders were touring the entire country and the state, Thackeray (was chief minister) was only giving speeches online from Matoshree. The people of Maharashtra have seen this for themselves,” he said.</p><p>“By saying 'Shiv Sena is not finished', you not only lost the ‘Sena’ yourself, but also left behind two strong pillars like ‘Shiv’ and ‘Hindutva’ and bowed down at the feet of Sonia Gandhi,” said Bawankule, adding, “When the support base is lost, the noise increases. Yesterday he did exactly that…you keep spewing venom, keep taunting, keep making sarcastic remarks, your future life will be spent in this…people of Maharashtra have already understood this.” </p><p>Bawankule also added, “Those who say 'Mumbai is ours', should first tell what they did for the Marathi citizens of Mumbai? When they were in power in the BMC, did they do anything on issues like slums, water schemes, education, health? Coastal road, metro, cluster redevelopment plan, slum rehabilitation plan for Mumbai - all these were made possible due to the initiative of Fadnavis…Mumbaikars know this very well.”</p>
