<p>Mumbai: In a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena (UBT) on Tuesday said that the BJP missed an historic opportunity to realise the dream of Hindutva icon and revolutionary freedom fighter Veer Savarkar’s vision of Akhand Bharat by agreeing to the United States President Donald Trump sponsored India-Pakistan ceasefire. </p>.'Modi, Shah should learn from Rahul': Sanjay Raut lauds Congress leader for accepting party's mistake in 1984 riots.<p>“Before halting the military action, India should have at least taken back PoK and separate Balochistan from Pakistan…Veer Savarkar dreamt of an undivided India extending from PoK to Rameswaram and the Indus to Assam, but Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his government missed the opportunity to realize Savarkar's dream of Akhand Bharat,” said an editorial in Saamana, the Shiv Sena (UBT) mouthpiece. </p><p>Later speaking to reports, Raut said that the ceasefire took place when the Indian armed forces were having an upperhand. “The Indian Army, the Indian Air Force and the Indian Navy were ready to break Pakistan (but the ceasefire happened),” he said. </p><p>“Narendra Modi and (Union Home Minister) Amit Shah cannot break Pakistan…they can break political parties….like Shiv Sena, NCP and AAP,” he said. </p><p>On BJP’s Tiranga Yatra, he said that the BJP has no right to touch Tiranga. “They should carry the United States of America flag,” he said. </p><p>About Modi’s address to the nation, Raut said that he was silent on the interference of Trump. </p><p>“It has almost been proven that Trump is running this country. Businessmen rule this country, but international businessmen control the businessmen from here,” he said, adding that the future would tell whether the ceasefire was to prevent the arrest of businessmen Gautam Adani. “Where is patriotism…business cannot be bigger than India…business cannot be bigger than sindoor,” he asked. “Modi’s friend Donald (Trump) did not even take his name….he has not said that he is with Narendra or he is with Modi,” he said, adding that Trump insulted India. “The bhakts and andh-bhakts have no answer now,” he added. </p><p>“Donald Trump is the ‘underworld don’ of the world,” said Raut.</p>
