<p>Mumbai: Bollywood actor <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/saif-ali-khan">Saif Ali Khan</a> was discharged from the Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai on Tuesday after 5 days of admission. He walked into the hospital in the wee hours of Thursday, January 16, after a Bangladeshi intruder, who had entered his apartment with the intention of robbery, stabbed him multiple times. </p><p>The 54-year-old actor was then rushed to the hospital where he immediately underwent emergency surgery. It is also alleged that police might visit him at his home to record a statement.</p><p>Meanwhile, the Mumbai police arrested accused Shariful Islam Shehzad Mohammad Rohilla Amin Fakir, a Bangladeshi national, on Sunday for the stabbing incident from Thane. Reportedly, he was staying in India illegally after changing his name to Vijay Das. The metropolitan magistrate's court in Bandra remanded him in five-day police custody.</p><p>In the next few days, the police will record the statement of Khan.</p><p>The police have already recreated the crime scene and collected fingerprints and forensic evidence.</p>
