<p>Davos: India has got the right leader at the right time in Prime Minister Narendra Modi and he will take the country to the top across various economic and social parameters, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said on Tuesday.</p><p>Speaking at the launch of an economic taskforce on 'Swarna Andhra by 2047', he said his state has huge growth potential and is progressing on the right path.</p><p>"Indians are the most accepted community globally and it will continue in future," he said at the event organised by industry body CII.</p><p>"We are having the right leader at the right time in Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He has absolute clarity on reforms and policy framework for the country going ahead.</p><p>"I'm fully confident that India will become a developed nation by 2047, and reach the number one or two spot in various areas," he said.</p><p>India is the only country that has the advantage of democratic dividend for the next 20-25 years, he said.</p><p>Naidu pitched moving forward from PPP model to P4 model or 'Public, Private and People Partnership' to tackle issues like poverty and hunger and improve the lives of everyone.</p><p>Naidu also announced setting up of a Centre of Global Leadership on Competitiveness in partnership with CII.</p><p>Present at the event, Tata group chief N Chandrasekaran said it's his honour to become Co-chair of the economic taskforce on Swarna Andhra by 2047.</p><p>He praised Naidu for his economic visions in his days as chief minister of erstwhile unified Andhra Pradesh.</p>.2028 will mark beginning of India's era: Andhra CM Chandrababu Naidu at Davos.<p>"While we develop this plan for 2047, it will have plans for immediate implementation as we progress towards the target year," he said.</p><p>"The plan will have multiple components, special focus on certain sectors in the beginning as we target other sectors," Chandrasekaran said, adding "we will set up educational institutions of global eminence," he added.</p><p>Naidu said, "In the early 90s, when the internet was invented, India launched economic reforms in 1991. From then onwards, we started working on second-generation reforms. Today, Indian entrepreneurs, especially those from Andhra Pradesh, are making their mark globally. We have the first-mover advantage in technology, demographic dividend, and entrepreneurial skills. We are also one of the most acceptable communities globally."</p><p>He added, "By 2047, India will be the number one or number two economy globally, and Indians will lead in creating wealth and serving the global community.</p><p>Recent assessments also project that by 2027, India will contribute the most to the incremental global GDP." Chandrasekaran said the 2047 plan focuses on developing Andhra Pradesh through the Government's 4P model -- public, private, people, partnerships.</p><p>"The plan will include multiple components, with a specific focus on certain sectors to drive economic growth and job creation," he added.</p><p>"The enduring partnership between CII and the Government of Andhra Pradesh under the leadership of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, is a matter of immense pride for us." The Global Leadership Centre (GLC) in Amaravati is an transformative initiative that aims to foster value-based leadership, enhance corporate governance, and nurture global leadership competencies," Chandrajit Banerjee, Director General, CII, said.</p><p>The CII Centre for Global Leadership on Competitiveness, which would be completely industry-led, and industry managed, will have a clear focus on enhancing the competitiveness of industries, both at the national level and within Andhra Pradesh.</p><p>The session also witnessed an Exchange of Letter of Intent between CII and the IMD Business School, Switzerland -- the first such agreement with an international institution for the Centre for Global Leadership on Competitiveness.</p><p>Later, during a session on "Pathway to India's Green Industrialisation: From Green Hydrogen to Green Manufacturing," organized by CII in association with Ernst & Young, Naidu reiterated Andhra Pradesh's commitment to becoming a hub for green energy and green hydrogen, emphasizing the state's focus on sustainable energy and green manufacturing.</p>
