<p>In a shocking incident, a youth was stabbed to death allegedly after an altercation over a seat in a train at Nihalgarh railway station in <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/india/uttar-pradesh">Uttar Pradesh</a>’s Amethi district on Thursday. </p><p>According to the police sources here, the man, identified as Tauheed, who was on his way to Nihalgarh from Ambala from Begampura Express, was attacked with a knife inside a general compartment of the train following an altercation with a group of passengers.</p><p>Tauheed, who suffered serious injuries, called his brothers to inform them about the incident and asked them to reach Nihalgarh railway station.</p> .Stones hurled at Kashi Vishwanath Express in Uttar Pradesh.<p>Sources said that the accused persons also attacked Tauheed’s brothers when they entered the compartment and confronted the alleged attackers.</p><p>They also suffered injuries in the attack. While Tauheed and his two brothers were left bleeding on the platform, the attackers remained in the train when it left the station.</p><p>All three were rushed to the hospital where Tauheed was declared dead. The two others were being treated at the hospital, sources said.</p><p>Sources said that four accused persons were nabbed when the train reached Sultanpur a little later after the Nihalgarh RPF alerted their counterpart. They were identified as Deepak Kumar, Mithun, Sujeet and Pawan. All of them were residents of Sultanpur district.</p><p>A case was registered in this regard and an investigation was on, the police said.</p>
