Russia's Lavrov to hold talks with Jaishankar next week amid Trump tariffs

Moscow: Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will hold talks with Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar on August 21, a spokesman for Lavrov's ministry said on Wednesday.

Moscow and New Delhi have talked up their "strategic partnership" since US President Donald Trump earlier this month announced higher tariffs on imports from India because of its purchases of Russian oil.
