<p>Six people died and eight were critically injured in a road accident in West Bengal’s Birbhum district on Friday. The incident took place in the Dubrajpur area of the district when a truck loaded with paddy collided head-on with another truck. </p>.<p><br />“ The truck loaded with paddy was coming from Ausgram in East Bardhaman district and collided had 14 persons on board including the driver. It collided head-on with another truck on Friday morning at Dubrajpur,” a senior district police official from Birbhum said. </p>.<p>He also said that while five passengers of the truck died on the spot another one succumbed to his injuries after being rushed to a local hospital.</p>.<p>Among the injured the condition of four are critical. Police are yet to determine whether the accident took place due to mechanical glitch or human error. </p>
