There is no crisis, demand will be met: Central Coalfields CMD on coal supply

Central Coalfields Ltd CMD PM Prasad said that coal stocks are low at power plants but there is no crisis. “From Coal India, we supplied at least 53 million tonnes more than last year in the first half of financial year, almost 20 per cent growth,” said PM Prasad while talking to ANI. “As the rainy season is over and the dispatching by Coal India has increased, there is no crisis. I am confident demand will be met,” PM Prasad added.
