Uttarakhand polls: Arvind Kejriwal promises free pilgrimage scheme

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on November 21 promised that if the party wins the Assembly elections in Uttarakhand, the residents of different communities will be benefitted with free pilgrimage.

CM Kejriwal said, “When AAP forms government in Uttarakhand, we'll begin Tirth Yatra Yojana here just like in Delhi. We'll facilitate free ‘darshan’ of Lord Ram in Ayodhya. For Muslims, we'll have the provision of visiting Ajmer Sharif and for Sikhs to Kartarpur Sahib. It'll be free.”
