'You know your pain...': Yuzvendra Chahal shares cryptic post amid divorce rumours with Dhanashree

Amid reports of impending divorce between Indian leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal and internet personality Dhanashree Verma, Chahal shared a cryptic Instagram story on Saturday night, which can only be assumed to refer to the recent developments regarding his marriage.

"Hard work spotlights the character of people. You know your journey. You know your pain. You know what all you have done to reach here. The world knows. You stand tall. You have worked with all your sweat to make your father and your mother proud. Keep standing tall like a proud son always," Chahal's Instagram story read.

Rumours have been doing rounds for several months now regarding the strain relationship between Chahal and Dhanashree. The couple has also unfollowed each other on the social media platform. While Chahal has deleted all pictures of him alongside Dhanashree, the latter’s profile still included pictures of herself and Chahal, although she too has unfollowed the cricketer on the platform.

It is still unclear what caused the reported rift between them after just four years of marriage.

Amid divorce speculations, the couple are also living separately for last three months, according to multiple reports.

Chahal had married Dhanashree in December 2020 following a relationship that formed during the Covid-19 lockdown. Following their marriage, the duo has been one of the most popular couples on social media.

Meanwhile on the cricket front, Punjab Kings has purchased the leg-spinner for whopping Rs 18 crore in the IPL 2025 auction. The 34-year-old has been out of the Indian team for a while, and will be eyeing a strong performance in the IPL 2025 to make his India comeback possible.

Chahal was also seen playing English county circuit recently where he played for Northamptonshire for their final Royal London ODI Cup match.
