A stroll in the park for Mumbai and they have jumped to the top of the points table. Also, Kolkata get knocked out and Hyderabad become the fourth team to qualify for the playoffs.

Chris Lynn got off to a blistering start, but MI clawed their way back by striking key wickets in the middle overs, when KKR failed to claim a single boundary from overs 7-12. Lasith Malinga led the way with a three-fer, before Rohit Sharma's half century and Suryakumar Yadav's swashbuckling 46* took the three-time champions to the very top of the table.

Now, three teams have finished on 18 points, which means Sunrisers Hyderabad are the first-ever IPL side to qualify with just 12 points.
