Boozy Snake

Women’s Day is almost upon us and it’s time to celebrate all the special women in your life. Be it your mother, sister, friend, wife, or anyone else, every woman deserves to be treated special on this day. And what better way to celebrate all her wonderful qualities than with delicious drinks? Here are a few cocktail and mocktail recipes for you to try and offer to all the special women in your life... 

Boozy Snake

Ingredients: Vodka, tomato juice, black pepper, salt, lemon juice, Tabasco sauce.

Method: Shake all the ingredients in a Boston shaker. Garnish with parsley, tomato, onion & chicken sausage (optional).

Devil’s Love Bite

Ingredients: Strawberry puree, white rum, sugar syrup, lemon juice.

Method: Blend fresh strawberries. Strain the juice. Shake the remaining ingredients in a Boston shaker. Garnish with strawberry & salt on the glass rim.

 

Snow Shower

Ingredients: Pineapple juice, coconut cream, coconut-flavoured rum, white rum.

Method: Blend all the ingredients in a Boston shaker & pour the mixture in a glass. Garnish with blue buracao & pineapple wedge.

 

Rainbow Sangria

Ingredients: White wine, black grapes, strawberry, pineapple, orange, green apple.

Method: Stack black grapes in the bottom of a tall glass. Add ice cubes over the grapes. Stack the entire remaining fruits one above the other. Pour white wine and garnish with strawberries.

 

Lime Ginger Mocktail

Ingredients: ½ cup lemon juice, ¼ cup ginger juice, juice of 2 limes, ¼ cup club soda, lime rounds, ice.

Method: Stir lemon juice, ginger juice, club soda and lime juice in a pitcher. Pour into tall glasses with ice. Garnish with lime rounds and serve.

 

Mango-Cucumber Mule

Ingredients: 4-5 slices cucumber, 1 tsp honey, ½ cup mango puree, ½ cup fresh lime juice, mint twigs, ice.

Method: Muddle cucumber and honey in a cocktail shaker. Add the mango puree and lime juice and shake, covered, with ice vigorously for 10 seconds. Strain into a copper mug. Top with mint twigs and serve.

Pineapple - Orange Punch

Ingredients: 1 cup orange juice, 1 cup pineapple juice, 1 cup ginger ale, ice cubes.

Method: In a pitcher, stir together orange juice, pineapple juice and ice until well mixed. Top with ginger ale and serve.
