Accusing Arvind Kejriwal of hawala transactions through shell companies, sacked AAP minister Kapil Mishra on Sunday gave an ultimatum to the Delhi chief minister to resign or be ready to be dragged to jail by the collar.

Mishra claimed that the AAP had received “crores of rupees from shell companies” run by people close to Kejriwal and named MLAs Shiv Charan Goel and Naresh Yadav. He made the claims at a press conference on the fifth day of his hunger strike. Mishra fainted soon after he made the allegations against Kejriwal. He also claimed that the chief minister had provided wrong details to the Income-Tax (I-T) department and siphoned off money.

“It has now become clear that Arvind Kejriwal is a corrupt man,” Mishra told reporters minutes before he fainted at the press conference. Referring to one of the cases, he said the AAP received Rs 90 lakh as donation from a person in Bengaluru for 2014-15 and 2015-16, but the tax payable on the income was just Rs 4,000.

“In 2014-15, the AAP had Rs 65,52,40,752 (Rs 65.5 crore) in its bank account, but the Election Commission was informed about only Rs 32,46,16,662 (Rs 32.4 crore) while the party put only Rs 27,38,71,611 (Rs 27.3 crore) in the public domain and told its volunteers it had no money,” Mishra said.

He also claimed the party had made 461 “bogus” entries. Mishra, who was suspended from the AAP last week, said that Kejriwal was involved in converting black money into white by showing it as donations.
