CISF cover for Infosys Mysore

Union Home Minister P Chidambaram said on Monday that 48 posts of the para-military force have been sanctioned for providing security in Infosys technologies, Mysore. CISF would deploy its Quick Reaction Team at the Infosys campus at Hebbal Electronics city , Hootagalli in Mysore.

Infosys Global Education Centre, Mysore, spread over 337 acres, is the largest corporate education centre in the world. It can house and train over 14,000 employees at any given time, according to the company.

Private security is expected to go hand-in-hand in the campus along with the CISF security.
CISF is already securing Infosys Electronics City complex in Bangalore since last year. The request for CISF security had come from Infosys.

Key establishments of science and technology, software and industry are believed to be on the radars of terrorists who have in the past sought to  target Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.
