The Congress will not field its candidates against Samajwadi Party (SP) patron Mulayam Singh Yadav and his family members in the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls.
According to the sources in the Congress, the party has decided that it will not field its nominees against Mulayam, SP president Akhilesh Yadav's wife Dimple Yadav and Akhilesh's cousin Akshoy Yadav.
The SP and BSP have also decided not to field their candidates against Congress president Rahul Gandhi and former party president Sonia Gandhi in Amethi and Raebareli LS constituencies.
Earlier also Congress had not fielded its candidate against Dimple Yadav at Kannauj.
