<p>Congress on Tuesday night announced the sixth list of candidates for the Lok Sabha polls by fielding former Maharashtra unit chief Manikrao Thakre from the Yavatmal-Washim seat.</p>.<p>Charulata Tokas, the daughter of former Rajasthan Governor Prabha Rau, will be in the fray from Wardha, a seat sought by farmer leader and MP Raju Shetti of Swabhiman Paksha who is an alliance partner of Congress-NCP.</p>.<p>Former Lok Sabha member Eknath Gaikwad has been fielded from Mumbai North-Central seat. Former Planning Commission member Bhalchandra Mungekar was in contention for the seat.</p>.<p>Maharashtra MLA Kunal Patil, the son of former state minister Rohidas Patil, will be in the fray from Dhule, a family stronghold.</p>.<p>KC Padhvi has been fielded from Nandurbar, while Bhausaheb Kamble will contest from Shirdi. Navinchandra Bandivadekar will be in the fray from Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg Lok Sabha seat.</p>.<p>In Kerala, advocate-turned-politician Shanimol Usman will contest from Alappuzha, the seat represented by KC Venugopal. Usman belongs to the Ramesh Chennithala faction of the Congress in Kerala.</p>.<p>Adoor Prakash, a sitting MLA from Konni in Kerala, has been fielded from Attingal, a seat held by the CPI(M).</p>.<p>Congress has announced 146 candidates for the Lok Sabha polls over the past few days.</p>.<p>BJP is yet to come out with its first list.</p>.<p>On Monday, the Election Commission issued the notification for the first phase of Lok Sabha elections, polling for which will be held on April 11.</p>.<p>On Tuesday, the Election Commission issued notification for the second phase of elections, polling for which will be held on April 18.</p>
