Rahul Gandhi visits relief camps in flood-hit Wayanad

People of Wayanad in north Kerala, hit by natural calamities, shared their grievances with Congress leader and local MP Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday.

Rahul, who is on a four-day tour to his constituency, visited many relief camps. Many complained that they were yet to get the initial assistance offered by the government, while many sought alternative houses as their houses were fully damaged in the calamities.

Rahul, who supplied relief materials to the calamity-hit district, assured the people of taking up their grievances with the government. This is his second visit to his constituency this month after the natural calamities claimed many lives.
