AI offers more flights for summer holidays

National carrier Air India is all set for a major expansion to meet the heavy demand by expanding its routes and operation of additional flights on major domestic and international routes.

With effect from June 1, 2019, the carrier will offer 3,500 more seats per week on Mumbai – Dubai – Mumbai route and from June 2, 2019 it will offer 3,500 more number of seats per week on Delhi – Dubai – Delhi routes by operating two more new flights through B787 Dreamliner aircraft, the company said in a statement.

Through these flights, Air India will offer complete Dreamliner experience with more seat pitch, more legroom, more free baggage allowance, mood lights with bigger windows to get complete view from the sky and gourmet Indian food from renowned flight kitchen.

The airline will offer one-way economy class promotional fare of Rs 7,777 (all-inclusive) from both Delhi and Mumbai to Dubai for sale and travel up to July 31, 2019.

On its domestic front, effective June 5, 2019 Air India will introduce new flights on Bhopal – Pune – Bhopal route and holy town of Varanasi from and to Chennai.

The number of flights on Delhi – Bhopal – Delhi route will be increased from present 14 flights per week to 20 flights per week by introducing a third flight to the historical city of Tals.
