Parts of Vidarbha and Marathwada regions suffered extensive crop damage owing to the heavy rain continuing for three days.

In the last three days, 10 people have lost their lives in rain-related incidents across Maharashtra. The state has received 91.1% of the total average rainfall between June 1 to August 21.
In 14 districts, more than 100% rainfall has been received, which include Thane, Raigad, Palghar, Ratnagiri, Ahmednagar, Pune, Sangli, Satara, Nanded, Hingoli, Akola, Washim, Nagpur and Gadchiroli districts.
