Zee Media Corporation Limited (ZMCL) has served a legal notice to SAD MLA and former Punjab minister Bikram Singh Majithia for his alleged defamatory allegation against its editor Dinesh Sharma.
Majithia is the brother of union minister Harsimran Kaur. Majithia had reportedly alleged while talking to newspersons at Hoshiarpur on August 2 that Sharma had demanded Rs 20 crore from him before 2017 Punjab assembly elections for favourable reportage. Rs 100 crore on account of damages have been sought besides a public apology.
