IMD predicts heavy rain in North India

“Isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi and Chandigarh, as well as over West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh,” a met official said.

“Rain or thundershowers are expected at many places the next 48 hours,” the official added. The met office has predicted the maximum temperature in the capital on Sunday at 34 degrees Celsius and the minimum at 24 degrees Celsius.
