JOIN USHalf-centuries from HR Kiran (89) and ML Vishal (83) steered Mysore to a healthy 288 for five from their 75 overs, a total that proved beyond Tumkur in two hits.
PV Preetham’s three for five sent Tumkur tumbling to 105 all out in their first innings, and while they made a better fist of in the second through J Bharath’s 67, they were bowled out for 169 to slide to a massive defeat.
In another match, Bangalore City XI took the first innings honours against Raichur Zone but settled for a draw.
Bangalore City, batting first, posted a challenging 376 all out. In reply, Raichur could only muster 232 before being bundled out.
